SeenReport.com Launches Beta
Friday, June 13, 2008 14:11There has to be a time for everything.. When the media blackout happened in Pakistan, you may have noticed that a LOT of television channels used the opportunity to try and get their new presence up and running. Timing is key to determining the success of a project.
So it is no surprise that the young team from LUMS got a private beta version of their impressive project, SeeNreport.com (See and report dot com) - A website that once again, depends its entire existence on the concept of Citizen’s Journalism, young Sherjeel Ahmad and his crew fast tracked their work to take advantage of the Long March coverage. Sure, it’s an important event in the history of Pakistan when a bunch of lawyers get together to make a statement that we haven’t heard before, but do you see how key the timing was here?
They’ve got some fantastic coverage in terms of photographs up on their website. It’s a beta release so you need to contact them in order to use any of the photographs, though we can assure you that these kinds of images you shan’t find in a lot of cameras. These guys are good, they’re equipped with cameras and other hard core paraphernalia, and they’ve got a plan.
Click on the site and see the kind of excitement they’ve been able to generate with just one event. One website that has the potential to become the central reservoir for everyone out there. Visit SeeNreport.com to view the beta release.
Great job guys! Keep it up!
