Nokia’s new devices highlighted

KARACHI (July 01 2008): Nokia on Monday gave an overview and highlighted features of its latest devices likely to be launched later this year in the local markets. At a press briefing held at a local hotel, country manager Nokia Imran Khalid Mehmood and product manager Khuram Pradhan were present. The Nokia N78 - a latest model of N series was prominently highlighted.

Imran Khalid said that Nokia aims to strengthen its presence in Pakistani markets to cater to consumers through its wide range of products. He pointed out that Nokia is planning to expand its market, saying that it is already providing customers with the latest technology, like mobility and convergence.

Nokia N78 is amongst the first handsets with the integrated FM transmitters allowing the tones through car stereo. “Nokia N78 is a sleek multimedia computer that fuses navigation, photography, music and mobility in a way that gives convergence a new meaning,” Khuram Pradhan said.

He said that Nokia N78 features also include camera functionality and A-GPS, pictures and places where they are taken. It also packs a powerful range of technologies, including high-speed connectivity via WLAN and HSPDA 3.g5 and a 3.2 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics for great image quality. It is also compatible with a multitude of Internet services enabling consumers to create content from their palms
