Of course we have to stay in touch with the leaders in the EF MNP 2007 group who are aspiring to change the world and make the greatest impact towards collaboration and peace - And that’s why Gunvor Kronman, Fellow from Finland (MNP 2007) writes in about her vision for the brand New Year!
Gunvor writes: I have been elected as Chair as from 1st of January 2008 for the biggest NGO in Finland serving as an umbrella organisation for 275 Finnish organisations working in the international field (including all trade unions, civil rigths movements etc). It is quite an exciting task and I feel really good reverting in this way to my engagement in the the civil life.
I also will start serving on President Martti Ahtisaari’s board from
Kronman hosts Kaya and Casey!

Yes! It has finally happened! Another reunion (and ANOTHER bit of news that Caroline Casey, MNP Fellow 2007 from Ireland, has sneaked passed me!)!!!
Ratish, Mandira and Caroline have come together in EF’s most popular and most visited hangout: New Dehli! Here are some photographs that
Ratish has been good enough to send across BEFORE I hounded him down… Though guys? We ARE waiting for details!!!
Have a SAFE reunion (and shopping trip!!) and don’t have TOO much fun because we DO know that where we have THIS gang, is where ALL the fun is happening! ![]()
More Photos from the “Trip to India”
Author | 02.11.2007 | Category Uncategorized
The Brazilians went to India and they are sparingly parting with the wonderful photographs they took there. Here are some more that Keila Knobel (Spouse to Marcelo Knobel, EF MNP 2007) -
There is no greater measure of success for a program like the fellowship when people from different backgrounds, fields and continents meet
one another again, despite the time lag after an actual event. To sit and listen to the
stories of how Ratish and Marcelo had a Brazilian drink together or how Mandira and Keila
laughed and joked about their work lives and past memories, to me, is significant. It’s symbolic. This is more than about 4 people getting together. It’s more about bringing people, thoughts, ideas and countries closer.
We’re all envious of the trip but know that each of us who made up the Eisenhower Fellowships Multi Nation Program 2007, were well represented at this reunion! Thanks guys!

The fellow from Malaysia, Farith Rithauddeen, and his wife, Elfina, were blessed with a beautiful (and quite handsome) baby boy! Please do take the a moment to congratulate him (either by leaving a message here or emailing him) - Let’s dedicate a few seconds to sending a prayer to young Ahmad and hope that this young man has the chance to live in a better and brighter world because each of us are trying to work towards greater collaboration and peace between our nations and people! Amen!
