BMA Trade to equip with Dell Servers

Pakistan’s premier retail brokerage provider, BMA Trade signed an agreement to purchase trading backbone technology Dell. The agreement with the multinational technology provider to equip state-of-the-art Dell Servers to manage BMA’s trading requirements builds upon an existing relationship that BMA and Gerry’s have maintained and evolved since 2005.

Warid brings green technology to Pak

The green technology has finally landed in Pakistan – another first by Warid Telecom. To protect environment by introducing the environment friendly or green energy for mobile in Pakistan, Warid is in lead to introduce/deploy solar powered Macro Base Stations (BTS).  Environment-friendly Solar Powered Macro BTS allows Warid to extend its network reach to the rural areas of the country where there is no commercial power or frequent electric failures. The Broadband Stakeholders Group (BSG) in its maiden sitting set broadband subscriber base of 5 million as its target during the next three years. Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) had formulated a Broadband Stakeholders’ Group (BSG).
