4,286 schools to get IT education

The Punjab government will spend Rs 4.9 billion to provide information technology (IT) education to students at 4,286 government schools during the current fiscal year.
The Education Department (Schools) submitted a revised PC-I under which 4,286 high/higher secondary schools would be provided IT education, each of these schools would be provided IT teachers.

KARACHI: Netsol Technologies Limited has acquired ‘Silver’ approval from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in recognition of its commitment to the training and development of students working towards ACCA Professional and Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) schemes.

Head of ACCA Pakistan along with its Business Development Department visited NetSol Technologies Ltd, Pakistan to present ACCA approved employer certificate and to discuss areas such as recruitment, training, succession planning and talent management for Netsol’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) department.

Netsol Technologies launched its BPO services recently and currently employs 9 ACCA trainees in this department. According to Sajjad Kirmani, Director and Head of Operations, this department will very soon be expanded as their organisation sees considerable scope for growth in the BPO operations.

Ghauri appreciated the contribution of ACCA Pakistan in the field of accountancy and finance.
